- white sugar-1/2 cup.
- water-1/2 cup.
- Orange zest-3 strips.
- Cubed seeded watermelon-2 cups.
- White tequila-3/4 cup.
- Lime juice-1/4 cup.
- Salt or sugar for rimming glasses- optional
- lime cut into wedges-1.
- Crushed ice -2 cups or as needed.
How to make Watermelon Margaritas
Take 1/2 cup sugar, water, and orange zest in a saucepan and boil it, stir it continuously in Simmer until sugar is dissolved for about 3 minutes. Remove simple syrup from the heat and then allow to cool.
