Tawa Pulao is a famous Mumbai street food. It is made with veggies and rice sauteed with pav bhaji masala and other spices and herbs. It is an easy and simple rice recipe. As the name suggests, this Pulao is made using a tawa. You can also make this Pulao using kadai or frying pan. Whenever you have leftover rice, you can easily prepare this Tawa pulao. To make this pulao first, cook or steam the veggies. I won’t make this pulao very spicy, but if you want a spicy version you can increase the red chili powder.

Tawa Pulao can be served as a main dish. This pualo can be served with raita, yogurt, or with any veggie salad. You can accompany this pulao with mango or with any of your favorite pickle and roasted papad. One of the main ingredients for making this pulao is pav bhaji masala, you can either use homemade or store-bought  pav bahji masala.
