Falooda recipe with Ice cream is a refreshing summer dessert beverage which is made with rose syrup, milk, falooda sev, ice cream, sabja seeds, and dry fruits. It is a very famous north Indian summer drink. Falooda dessert beverage is a favorite of everyone, you can make falooda during summers as they are not only tasty but also cooling as sabja seeds and erose syrup are used. A normal falooda can be made easily with four basic ingredients, rose syrup, soaked sabja seeds, chilled milk, and falooda sev. There are different varieties of falooda one such variety is kulfi falooda in which kulfi is served with sabja seeds and falooda. These faloodas are very popular all over India especially in north India in Mumbai and Delhi.

Faloodas can be served as a dessert beverage. Don’t want to add any sugar to these faloodas as adding rose syrup will give a sweet taste to the falooda. If you want you can add strawberry flavored jelly to these faloodas. You can top these faloodas with a scope of vanilla ice cream and garnish with chopped dry fruits and serve with a spoon. Instead of vanilla ice cream, you can use any of your favourite scope of ice creams like strawberry ice cream or mango ice cream. You can also add almond milk instead of normal milk.

Instructions
  1. Soak the sabja seeds for about 30 minutes in enough water. After they swell up, drain and keep aside.

  2. Next, prepare the falooda sev as per the instructions in the package, some require just soaking in warm water. But I had to cook them in boiling water like noodles. Once they are cooked, rinse and keep aside. If the sev is too long then chop them begore cooking.

  3. Next, take 4 serving glasses and add rose syrup to the glasses first, you can add rose syrup as per your taste.

  4. Next, add the soaked and drained sabja seeds to the glasses.

  5. Next, add the falooda sev.

  6. Next, add 3/4 to 1 cup chilled milk slowly, the milk should not get mixed with the rose syrup and sabja seeds.

  7. Next, add a scoop of Vanilla ice cream or add your favorite ice cream.

  8. Top it with sliced pistachios, golden raisins, cashews, and almonds. Serve the falooda immediately.
