Dry Aloo Matar Recipe | How to make Dry Aloo Matar
Dry Aloo Matar is a tasty and lightly spiced recipe. Baby potatoes with green peas make this dish taste amazing.
First, in a pan heat oil and then add cumin seeds and allow it to crackle. Next, add chopped baby potatoes and green peas.
Saute for about 7 to 8 minutes and then add ginger and green chilies.
Next, add coriander powder, red chili powder, and cumin powder. Stir well.
Next, add 1/3 to 2/3 cups of water.
`Then cover the pan with a lid and allow it to simmer for 20 to 25 minutes. Check often and add some water if the water dries up. After the veggies are cooked well and the mixture is dry, add garam masala powder, salt, and dry mango powder.
Stir well and add chaat masala finally.
Garnish with few coriander leaves.
Serve Dry Aloo Matar with bread, phulkas, rotis, and pooris. You can also serve it with dal rice and jeera rice.
