Badam Pista lassi is a variation from usual lassi, it is made with almonds and pistachios. It is chilled and refreshing beverage basically made with fresh curd, cardamom powder, and sugar. It is a popular drink in North India. Adding almonds and pistachios gives a great flavour and taste to the lassi. You can also add cashews if you like. Traditionally lassi is churned with a wooden churner named Madani but if you don’t have it, you can just blend it using a blender or mixer.
Badam Pista lassi can be served as a cooling drink during hot summer days. There are many types of lassi, some people make lassi by mixing curd with milk and some will mix curd with ice cubes or chilled water. Here in this recipe, I mixed thick curd with milk and sugar. To all types of lassi, the cardamom powder is added. You can also add saffron and rose water to the lassi if you wish.
