Ragi Dosa Recipe | How to make Ragi Dosa: Ragi dosa is very good for health. It is made up of fermented rice batter along with ragi flour. Ragi Dosa is one of the favorites for all. Here is how to cook the simple ragi dosa:
Ragi Dosa Recipe:
- Fermented Rice Batter – 1 cup
- Ragi Flour – 1/4 cup
- Salt – To taste
- Oil – To drizzle around Dosa
- Onions – 1 small
- Green Chilies – 1 to 2
- Curry leaves – 1 sprig
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Mustard – A pinch
- Cumin – A pinch
- Hing – A pinch
- Urad Dal – A pinch
How to make the Recipe:
Take a bowl of fermented rice batter and add 1/4 cup of Ragi flour to it. Sprinkle it with salt as per your requirement. Add a little amount of water to it.
Bring it to a pouring consistency and remove any lumps if present in it.
Heat a pan and add a tsp of oil to it. Then add the cumins, mustard, and dal to it. When all of these begin to splutter, add the curry leaves and Hing. Then add the onions, Chillies and coriander leaves to this. (This is an optional step).
Add the above mixture to the batter and mix them together.
Heat a Tawa and swear oil over it. Check whether the Tawa is hot enough and pour the batter and spread them in the Tawa. Then pour little oil to edges of the dosa. Check whether the side is cooked and flip them and cook the other side of the dosa.
Cook until they turn crispy. Make sure not to burn the dosa. Serve hot to eat crispy along with a chutney of your choice.
