- Dashi – 1/3 cup
- Soy Sauce – 1 tablespoon
- Sake – 1 Tablespoon
- Sugar – 2 teaspoons
- Mirin – 2 teaspoons
- Chicken Katsu – 1 ounce
- Eggs – 2 Large
- Scallions – 2 sliced
- Rice – Steamed
Japanese Chicken Recipe:
Heat a pan and add 1/3 cup of Dashi to it.
Once the Dashi gets heated, add a tablespoon of soy sauce to the dashi and mix them.
Then add a tablespoon of Sake to the mixture.
Take 2 teaspoons of sugar and add them to the mixture as well.
Once the sugar gets mixed, add 2 teaspoons of mirin and let it boil.
Now take the Chicken Katsu prepared and add place it in the boiling mixture.
Take two eggs and beat them together. Add 2 sliced scallions into it and mix them. Layer the eggs over the chicken katsu.
Close the lid and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
Once cooked open the lid and check the softness.
Layer the mixture over a bowl of steamed rice. Use few scallions to garnish the dish. Serve them hot.
