Garlic Mushroom Recipe:
- Mushrooms – 1 1/2 cup chopped
- Onions – 1/2 cup finely chopped
- Cumin – 1/2 tsp
- Olive oil – 1 to 2 tbsp
For Garlic Sauce:
- Garlic – 5 large cloves
- Red chilies – 5 or chili powder as needed
- Vinegar – 3/4 tbsp
- Sugar – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – As required
- Water – 2 tbsps
- Red chili powder – Little to add color
- Coriander Leaves
- Onion wedges
How to cook Garlic Mushroom:
Take a blender jar and add the red chilies, sugar, salt, vinegar, garlic cloves. You can also add lemon juice instead of vinegar. You can add the red chili powder instead of red chilies and make it into a fine paste.
Add 1 to 2 tablespoon of water and blend them together. Add a little chili powder to give color. You will get a thick paste.
Take a pan and heat it. Add 1 to 2 tbsp of oil. Once the oil gets heated, add a half tsp of cumin and fry for 30 seconds. Then add the finely chopped onions along with it. Saute until the onions turn golden in color.
Once the onions change golden in color, add the garlic paste.
Fry them until the raw smell of garlic is gone. Fry on a medium flame.
Take one and a half cup of mushrooms, wash and chop them. Add them to the garlic paste.
Mix well until the mushrooms get mixed properly with the garlic paste. Fry it for about 3 minutes.
Cover the pan and cook it until the mushroom gets cooked properly. Do not overcook the mushrooms.
You can add some coriander leaves to it. If you wish to mix them with noodles or rice, you can do it at this stage.
