Turkey Burgers Recipe:
- Ground Turkey – 3 pounds
- Bread Crumbs – 1/2 cup
- Onions – 1/4 cup finely diced
- Egg Whites – 2 beaten
- Fresh Parsley – 1/4 cup chopped
- Garlic – 1 clove
- Salt – 1 teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper – 1/4 teaspoon
Take three pounds of turkey in a separate bowl and keep it ready for the mix.
Now take 2 eggs and pour the whites of the eggs in a bowl. For this recipe, we just need the whites. Keep the yoke separately for any other purpose. Beat the whites in the bowl.
Take a half cup of seasoned bread crumbs and add it to the turkey.
Chop a medium sized onion to make a 1/4 cup of chopped onion and add it to the turkey. Now take the beaten egg whites and pour them into the turkeys.
Then Chop off a handful of fresh parsley to make a quarter cup and add these as well.
Take a clove of garlic and finely dice them. Mix it with the other mixtures.
Now sprinkle a teaspoon of salt followed by a quarter teaspoon of ground black pepper.
Then mix all together to form a turkey mixture. Do not over mix the mixture. You want the meat to be loose. Once mixed use your hands to form the turkey patties.
Add a little oil to a pan and fry the turkey patties in it. It might take about 5 to 8 minutes per side.
Once a side is fried turn them around and cook the other side. Make sure not to burn it.
When it is done, place them on a burger bun followed by fillets of your choice.
