Chicken Piccata Recipe:
- Chicken – 2 to 4 skinless, boneless breast halves
- Cayenne Pepper – To Taste
- Salt and ground Black Pepper – To Taste
- All-Purpose Flour – To Coat
- Olive Oil – 2 tablespoons
- Capers – 1 tbsp drained
- White wine – 1/2 cup
- Lemon Juice – 1/4 cup
- Water – 1/4 cup
- Butter – 3 tablespoons, sliced
- Fresh Parsley – 2 tablespoons chopped
How to cook Chicken Piccata:
Take the pieces of chicken and rinse them in water.
Smash the chicken and make the size thinner so that it can be cooked quickly.
Sprinkle few pinches of Cayenne pepper, salt and ground pepper and all-purpose flour over the smashed chicken.
Take all-purpose flour to coat the chicken in a plate and coat the chicken over it.
Coat the chicken on both the sides and set it aside.
Add two tablespoons of oil in a pan and heat them.
Once the oil gets heated, add the coated chicken to it. Before adding the chicken remove the excess flour by just shaking it.
Fry them on both the sides. Fry until the chicken turns golden on both the sides.
Once fried, remove the chicken and keep it aside.
Now add a tablespoon of drained capers and cook them for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add the white wine and let it boil.
Once the wine starts boiling, add 1/4 cup of lemon along with 1/4 cup of water.
Mix them well. Now add the butter to the pan.
Put the flame on low and stir until the butter melts. Now add fresh chopped parsley over it.
Then add the fried chicken to this mixture and let it cook.
Delicious tasty Chicken Piccata is ready to be served.
