Chicken Marsala Recipe | How to cook Chicken Marsala: Chicken Marsala is an American-Italian dish made from chicken, Mushroom and Marsala wine. Here is how to cook the delicious this tasty Chicken recipe.
Chicken Marsala Recipe:
- All Purpose flour – 1/4 cup for coating
- Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
- Black Pepper – 1/4 tsp
- Oregano – 1/2 tsp
- Chicken – 4 skinless, boneless breast pieces
- Butter – 4 tablespoon
- Olive Oil – 4 tablespoon
- Mushrooms – 1 cup sliced
- Marsala Wine – 1/2 cup
- Cooking Sherry – 1/2 cup
Take four pieces of skinless, boneless breast pieces of chicken.
Cover it with a plactic sheet and beat the pieces to make them thinner.
In a tray, take 1/4 of all purpose flour.
Add 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp of black pepper, and 1/2 tsp of oregano to the flour.
Mix all together and spread them all over the tray.
Add the chicken to the flour and coat it on the both side.
Heat a pan and add 4 tablespoons of butter and 4 table spoons of oil.
Heat it until the butter melts completely and mixes with the oil.
Add the chicken pieces in the pan and let it to fry for 5 to 7 minutes. After 5 miutes, turn the piece upside down and again fry for anothe 5 minutes.
Once both the sides are fried, transfer the chicken to another plate and keep it aside for sometime.
Chop a cup of mushrooms.
Add them to the same pan where you fried the chicken and stir the mushroom and mix with oil.
Now add 1/2 cup of Marsala wine and mix them well.
Then add half cup of cooking sherry and stir them altogether.
Add the fried chicken to the pan and mix well with the sherry and wine mix together.
Close the pan and cook for 10 to 15 minutes on medium flame until the chicken tenders.
Once the chicken is cooked remove and serve it hot.
