Cauliflower Curry Recipe:
- Onions – 1 cup chopped
- Tomatoes – 1/2 cup chopped
- Cauliflower Florets – 1.5 cups
- Curry Leaves – A sprig
- Ginger garlic Paste – 1 tsp
- Cumins – 1/4 tsp
- Oil – As needed
- Garam Masala – 1 tsp
- Red Chili Powder – 3/4 tsp
- Salt – As needed
- Water – As needed
- Turmeric – As Desired
How to prepare Cauliflower Curry:
Heat water in a pan and add one and a half cup of cauliflower florets. Soak them for few minutes. Once done, rinse them under running water and drain the water completely.
Now in a separate pan heat oil and add the curry leaves and the cumins. Once they start to splutter, add the ginger garlic paste.
Stir and saute the paste until the raw smell goes off.
Now add the onions and fry until the onions turn golden in color.
Then add the tomatoes along with salt and turmeric. Cook them until the tomatoes turn mushy.
Now add a teaspoon of Garam Masala and 3/4 teaspoon of red chili powder to the tomato mixture. Stir and saute them for a minute.
Then add the drained Cauliflower florets to the mixture and saute for a minute.
Stir and fry them for about 3 to 4 minutes.
Now add a little water to cook the cauliflowers. If you need a dry curry then don’t add any water to it.
Cover and cook until the cauliflower is cooked. Cook on a low flame.
Once cooked, check the salt and spice. Adjust the taste if needed.
Garnish the curry with coriander leaves. Serve it with rice or Roti.
