Ingredients: (For Batter)
- Paneer – 1 1/2 cups
- Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Corn Flour – 3 tbsp
- Pepper Powder – 2 pinches
- Salt – As needed
- Water – As needed
- Oil – As needed
Ingredients: (For Chilli Paste)
- Sugar – 1/2 tsp
- Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Water – Little
Ingredients: (For Seasoning)
- Soya Sauce – 1 tbsp
- Chilli Sauce – 1 tbsp
- Vinegar – 1 tsp
- Garlic – 1 tbsp chopped
- Spring Green onions – 2 tbsp chopped
- Spring White Onions – 2 tbsp chopped
- Capsicum – 1/2 cup
- Onions – 1 medium chopped
- Green Chillies – 2 slit
- Corn flour – 1 tsp
- Water – as needed
Add 3 tbsp of corn flour, red chili powder, salt and two pinches of pepper powder in a bowl.
Now add water as required and make a thick batter.
Then add paneer to the batter and coat the paneer.
Add oil to a pan and heat the oil. Put the coated paneer to it and fry on a medium flame. Spread them while frying else they will stick with each other.
Fry until the flour dries up. You will get the golden color only if you use the chili sauce before marination.
Once fried, dry them on a kitchen tissue paper to remove the excess oil.
In a pan, heat oil and add garlic to it. Saute the garlic until the raw smell goes off.
Switch the flame to high and add onions, spring onions green, capsicum and green chilies. Slightly cook them on the high flame.
Add soy sauce to the veggies.
Mix the soy sauce and add the vinegar.
Now add the red chili sauce.
You can prepare a red chili paste with the ingredients mentioned above and add them. (This is optional).
Add 2.5 tablespoon of water. Allow the sauce to bubble and thicken.You can add 1/2 tsp of corn flour if you wish to during this step.
Add the Chilli paneer to the veggies and toss on a high flame for 1 to 2 minutes. you can check the salt and add as required.
Garnish the Chilli Paneer with spring onions. Tasty and crispy Chilli Paneer is ready to be served.
