Barbequed Pineapple recipe:
- Fresh pineapple-1.
- Cup rum-1/4.
- Cup brown sugar-1/4.
- Tablespoon ground cinnamon-1.
- Teaspoon ground ginger-1/2.
- Teaspoon ground nutmeg-1/2.
- Teaspoon ground cloves-1/2.
How to make Barbequed Pineapple:
Peel the outer layer of pineapple and leaving it whole, just cut off the center core. And cut into eight rings, and keep them in a shallow glass dish or resealable plastic bag.
Mix the rum, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves together in a bowl. And then Pour marinade over the pineapple.
Then cover the pineapple and refrigerate for 1 hour, or overnight.
Preheat grill with high heat, lightly oil grate.
Grill the pineapple rings for 15 mins turning once and until outside part is dry and char-marked. Serve with remaining marinade.
Serve this Pineapple with remaining marinade.
You can also serve this pineapple dessert with a scoop of ice cream.
